What happened to MyForexFunds

On 29 Aug 2023 the CFTC filed a complaint in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey (Case 1:23-cv-11808) against Traders Global Group Inc. and Murtuza Kazmi, alleging they fraudulently solicited customers. The same day it got an ex parte statutory restraining order that froze assets and appointed a temporary receiver. Also on 29 Aug 2023, the OSC issued a temporary cease-trade order. Tribunal extensions followed, the last on 18 Jul 2024 (consented to by the respondents), and that order expired after at most 3 months. The tribunal docket lists no later filings. Grant Thornton Limited was appointed receiver and manager by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on 21 Dec 2023. In Nov 2023 the US court narrowed the freeze and removed the temporary receiver. On 13 May 2025, Judge Edward S. Kiel adopted the Special Master's report, granted the defendants' Rule 11 sanctions motion and dismissed the complaint with prejudice. On 11 Jul 2025 the court awarded the defendants $3,148,484.22 in legal fees and costs from the CFTC and closed the case. In April 2026, FNG reported that MFF had begun returning funds to clients who had pending rewards. The brand has since been sold to Global Solutions Operations FZE (Dubai), which says it is 'not currently offering any products or services under the MyForexFunds brand' and has announced a relaunch on 23 Nov 2026.
