Futures prop firms
Futures prop firms fund trading in exchange-listed contracts: CME Group index futures such as the E-mini and Micro Nasdaq and S&P, plus crude oil, gold and treasuries. Orders go through futures platforms such as Rithmic, Tradovate and NinjaTrader, and the risk rules are written in dollars, usually a trailing or end-of-day drawdown, instead of the percentage limits CFD firms use.

What to check before you buy
Subscription or one-off fee. Some futures evaluations bill monthly until you pass, others charge once. Add any activation fee due on funding before you compare prices.
How the drawdown trails. Intraday trailing drawdown follows your open profit tick by tick. End-of-day trailing only moves at the close. The same dollar figure can be far tighter intraday.
Contract limits and consistency. Futures plans cap how many contracts you can hold and often add a consistency rule on payouts. Both decide how fast you can scale.
Payout path. Many futures firms pay after a set number of winning days and cap early withdrawals. Read the payout policy, not just the split.
